Rob van der Knaap

President

Rob has been with Spark for over 14 years. Starting as a service manager he has had various positions on both the commercial side as well as on the development side of the company. As his overall responsibility, his main objective is to create a company known for its innovative sample introduction, extraction and separation technology on one hand, and on the other, a company that is appreciated for taking excellent care of its customers.

Sonja van der Laan

Vice President Operations

Sonja started working at Spark in 1985. She has had several positions in the company and now heads Operations and Support. The Operations team is responsible for production, logistics and purchasing. High quality and reliable delivery times are top priority for the Operations department. The Support team is responsible for ict, quality and human resources.

Sebastiaan Portier

Director, Sales and Marketing

Started working for Spark in 2005 and was responsible for the OEM business and service. Now he is responsible for all Spark's sales, marketing and service activities. Sebastiaan's team is aimed at establishing and maintaining valuable relationships with Spark's partners and OEM customers, whilst driving Spark's new innovations and technologies to become tomorrow's standard setting products.

Bert Ooms

Principal Scientist

Bert has been with Spark almost since it started and has been responsible for product development, research and new business development over the years. As principal scientist he is now involved in technology and research strategy and external research partnerships. His main objective is to maintain and promote Spark's position as a leading provider of innovative front-end technology.

Otto Halmingh

Manager, Research and Development

Otto is responsible for R&D at Spark Holland BV. He has held several roles over the past years in customer services, product management and product development. He joined Spark more than 16 years ago as scientific researcher. Besides development of new innovative products the R&D team is specialized in performing OEM customization projects.

Henk Pruim

Manager, Finance
